Lambourne Loop: 4th Of July Parade,Birthdays, and Friends!

 Fourth of July was so fun this year! Here are my festive nails I rocked for the holiday!

 Every year my dance company performs in our city parade! Danny did all the technical work with the speakers ect, and was the driver of the lovely truck, we couldn't have done the parade without him! The little ones rode in the truck and got to wave and wear cute festive clothes and all the older dancers got to dance! The dancers love doing it every year!

The Fourth of July ended up being a pretty strenuous day.  So the next day my best friend brought all sorts of goodies... and we pretty much pigged out all day long! :) (We took out the M&M's from the picture... we didn't want people to judge!) :)

July is also my Dad's Birthday! :) So we went to Ruth Chris'. Its sooooooo good! Here he is with his dessert!! YUM!!! 

This week Danny got his new workout system!!! :) It's called The Rack! You can do all sorts of different dips and and push-ups and stuff on it!  When it's put together it looks like a little old persons walker :P but it's a pretty cool little work station!

 Danny also sold his old golf clubs for a new set! :) He sold his old set for more than his new set so he made a little bit off the deal!!!

 There has been a lot of fun outings this summer that have been really fun!

 Here are some pictures with one of my dancers!! Her older sister (also a dancer of mine) was in a city talent show and invited me to come! She got 3rd!!! :)  We snapped a few shots while we were waiting for her sister to dance! 

My dancers also did an outdoor "late night"  They hung a HUGE screen on the side of the house and we all watched The Avengers! We roasted marshmallows, and chatted and it was a way fun night for all the dancers and parents to hang out and enjoy the summer night together!

I have gotten to hang out with my best friend and her family A LOT lately! :) it has been so much fun!  We've been at the pool swimming, making "Christ Krispy Treats" for my class, and last night it was GAME NIGHT!! We played Disney games, the boy did surprisingly well, but the girls dominated BOTH games!! :D

I also started another Blog with my friend Annie!! Check it out when you get a chance we have had so much fun getting it started! :)

Other than that... my baby brother is leaving boot camp tomorrow, then to Pararescue school!  We all are pretty shocked that he got called so soon, because he wasn't supposed to start till October! But I'm really excited for him to start this new adventure! I'm going to miss him.... more than he knows! I love him so much. He is seriously the best little brother anyone could ever ask for... and he's going to do great things.  I'm really struggling seeing him go, but I know I'll see him soon and he's doing a great service and I couldn't be more proud! :)

Lambourne Loop: Baby, being sick and cupcakes

This week one of Danny's best friends had their baby! :) They wanted the gender to be a surprise and they ended up having a perfect little baby girl, which they named Elliot 6/7/2013  So excited for them and the beginning of the new chapter in their life! :)

On Tuesday Danny and I went on a day date to see Epic! It was a pretty cute little movie it was just nice to be together and have a little fun! :)

Mid-week treat! This week was kind of just dragging and so on my way home from teaching I went and got grandma and I dinner and cupcakes! Grandpa was at scouts and Danny was at school.  So we had a little girls night treat! 

 These are our FAVORITE cupcakes they are Salted Carmel! OH MY GOSH!! soo good!

Thursday night I started to get super sick and I've been in bed since then! It's been three days and I'm going crazy!! Luckily, I had a buddy who stays and naps with me all day long!! Teddy!!

I'm so done being sick!!! It's awful!! I don't know where I got it, no one I know is even sick. It might just be the "season changing flu" I dunno but it lame.  I don't feel so awful that I want to sleep all day, but I don't feel good enough to get up and do ANYTHING.  I'm stuck in this in between limbo. Netflix has been the only thing that has saved me!

I also started a voice journal this week.  May sound kind of strange but I figure I'm such a chatter box it might be a good way to talk my feelings out.  It's been fun, so we'll see how it goes!:)

Lambourne Loop: Date Day, 3D Movie, Memorial Day, Summertime Fun

 So one afternoon Danny and I decided to take an outdoor adventure to a nearby park! OH MY GOSH!! This place was HUGE! We walked forever but it was so cool! There were little walkways through the forest, tons of birds, bridges, and huge rocks for Danny to climb on! :) It was a really nice afternoon date! :)

A bunch of our family went and say Starwars in 3D! It's been forever since I saw the first one so it was a little hazy! :) We snapped a few shots of a couple of us in our "stylish" 3D glasses!! :P

Memorial Day BBQ- A bunch of family came over for BBQ!  Because it was so nice out I took the scooter down to the store to get some chips for the BBQ the upper right picture is the chip strapped to the back of the scooter! :) Under that is a picture of some of the cousins playing with soccer balls, footballs... and there might have been a frisbee going as well!  Bottom left is grandma sitting on a lazy boy with the shoulder massager! She ABSOLUTELY loved it!! :) and top left is Kenz and Janessa posing for the camera by one of the food tables! :)

It's getting to get really really nice out! Super warm but with a breeze so you don't die! I love it Teddy likes to come and sit outside with me but it get so hot he likes to get under my sun hat for shade so one day I brought his little house out for him to relax in while we sat outside! :P  OH! I got new nail polish this week! Oh my gosh! It's sooo cool! love the holographic colors! :)  And then there is Danny...... hanging from the basketball hoop... no surprise there... though interesting pose I must say!

There there was our sister shopping day! Allora just got her whole throat taken out (tonsils and adenoids) and this was her first big venture out of the house since her surgery! :) Bottom right- We went to a place called Subzero which is this place where they mix all the ingredients up and then freeze the ingredients with Nitrogen to make ice cream right in front of you. It was so fun to have a sister day... although it would've been even MORE fun with my other sister TOO!! But what can you do?

I'm so excited for Summer it's been a loooong winter and I'm loving being outside FINALLY! :)

Lambourne Loop: Feis & Friends!

SO!  I have been putting off blogging for so long because I can't seem to find the time to sit down and blog all about our trip to Germany.... There are SOOOOOOO many pictures and stories it's very overwhelming.

While I'm working on that I just wanted to put up a post about things that are happening now!! :)

SO yesterday was our first time running our very first Irish Dance Competition (Feis, pronouced fesh) Utah Legacy Open Feis, was the first WIDA feis in the USA.  It was truly historic and was a pioneering event in our organization!  It was truly amazing!!! :D We had so much fun with our sister school in the USA came and participated and all of the kids had such a good time!  A good friend and former dancer judged the feis for us and it was soooo great to see her after so long! We were really close when I was younger and it was so nice to finally be reunited and have such an amazing time! Marion if you're reading this I LOVE YOU!!!:)

The event was truly amazing and had such a positive, calm and encouraging atmosphere that in my opinion was lacking in the previous organization I used to be a part of.  It was amazing to see the joy in the kids and to see them grow like I did this weekend it was awesome! :)

 These girls have been dancing with me for a long time!! :) They are seriously amazing girls! It makes me tear up seeing how big they've gotten!

Another one of my girls in 3rd Place! Everyone who came to compete were so amazing! They were beautiful, talented, sweet and very positive!

In other news, Danny is still taking classes over the summer but he's taking less credits and it seems much more manageable this semester than previous ones.  But have no fear she's taking triple the credits next semester so things will be back to crazy.  He's trying to finish his 4 year Masters Degree in a year and a half, so he's on track to graduate in December.

Also, one of my best friends Lisa is moving to Oklahoma!!! :( Her husband got accepted to vet school there and they are moving in July.  I'm really sad to see her leave, but I'm really excited for them and their new adventure...but I sure am going to miss them when they are gone so we're trying to get in as much time as we can before they leave!!!

Lambourne Loop

Just a jumble of things going on lately! Mostly getting ready for our trip to Germany soon! :)

Teddy has been his usual self! When he wants attention he decided to lay across grandma's puzzle till she pays attention! :)

My little sister had a project for school where they bring home a baby for a few days.... kind of weird.. They have sensors in them and they know what happens to the baby and it reflects in their grade. So they have to feed them and all this  stuff it's pretty interesting.  Here is my Mom holding her "grand baby"

St. Patricks Day show is over it went really well all of my dancers did amazing and the costuming all worked out and the world kept spinning! :) :P  Here is a picture of two of my little dancers stretching at the end of class before the performance!

We also had the final championships for church ball a couple weeks ago!:P Danny is such a good player it's really fun to watch him... even on his "bad" days!  This game they blew the other team out of the water!

The score was like 60- 40 but they took the score off the scoreboard right as I was taking a picture of it!

Danny and I went out for a Sunday drive to try and find some of the school houses he saw when he got lost in a neighborhood... we didn't find them but we found all these dear! It was so quiet and really cool to see them all out grazing!

 I got my hair done this week! It was time... :P I also cut my bangs which I don't have a picture of but I'm sure a lot of the Germany pictures will have my new bangs in them! :P This was a picture I took for Lisa :P

Lambourne Loop: Birthdays,Vanity Searching and Teddy!

SO we were just driving along searching for furniture stores to fine me a better vanity, and suddenly came upon this sign and had to take a picture!!

So March is a big birthday month in our family lots and lots of birthdays!  Grandpa's birthday as well as my younger siblings who are twins birthdays' were all last week!

We took grandpa out to Red Robin, which I'm pretty sure he picked because he knows Danny likes it and we don't go there as much because Grandma doesn't like it:P But here he is enjoying is Birthday dessert!

We also went to a Brazilian Restaurant for their birthday with the whole family! We even facetimed my sister who is away at college!
